Repeat the same exact steps on the other side. When completed trim away the excess DIY carpeting and trim loose strings. Be sure to cut V's so the carpet will fit in the corners. To make it adhere better walk around the edges. Finish your project by use a metal binder strip or aluminum saddle in the door ways.

The outdoor carpet you purchase should be made from UV olefin fibers. It should be treated to prevent fading in the sun and pool chemicals if you plan to use it around a pool.
